Long Term Care Insurance

By June 4, 2013Uncategorized

Someone with a prolonged physical illness, a disability or a cognitive impairment (i.e. Alzheimer’s disease) often needs long-term care.  Long-term care is different from traditional medical care.  Long-term care helps one live as he/she is now; it may not help to correct medical problems.  Long-term care services may include help with activities of daily living, home health care, respite care, hospice care, adult day care, care in a nursing home, or care in an assisted living facility.

One way to pay for long-term care is with Long-Term Care Insurance.  This type of insurance pays for or reimburses you for some or all of your long-term care.

If you are interested in a long-term care policy, we can help.  Give us a call and we’ll help you determine if it’s right for you.
